Whitehorse in the Know is a podcast created, edited and maintained by Whitehorse Middle School in Madison, WI. This podcast features everything you need to know about Whitehorse and then some. Throughout the episodes you will hear discussions about upcoming events, successes and changes. There will also be a sub-podcast within the podcast called ”Whitehorse in the Know - Special Edition.” This portion will feature the students of Whitehorse creating, editing and maintaining their own individual podcasts. In this Episode, Whitehorse student Joselyn Euceda is interviewing Ms. Aryiel Matthews (Ms. Matthews) SEA at Whitehorse Middle School. Ms. Matthews created an amazing new program called Girl World. This program was created to create a safe place for our young girls speak and express themselves without hostility and fear.

In this Episode, Whitehorse students Margaret James (Maggie) and Estelle Peterson (Stella) interview with Emily Coyne (Ms. Coyne) art teacher and one of the leaders of the SAGA (Sexuality And Gender Alliance) at Whitehorse. The SAGA program is an amazing program allowing acceptance with oneself as well as providing assistance to homeless.

The are discussing Black Girl Magic, a program for our Black girl youth. This is a way to experience unity and appreciate how wonderful they are. Learn about each other and get away from the hostility. This year only the eighth graders are able to go.
